Let Me Introduce Myself

Hello Ladies,

This is Ms. Glossy a/k/a Trina, b/k/a Adrienne, and I am really just looking forward to networking and meeting new women of color, a little venting, and possibly some business leads.

I have a degree in Business, and have worked as a legal assistant/legal secretary for 17 years, and I'm also scouting for freelance work as a Virtual Assistant and/or Notary Signing Agent (real estate closings) in the Central (Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Chicago) and Eastern (New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.) regions. Currently, I am studying for the CLA (certified legal assistant) exam, and plan to attend law school in the fall.

I believe in God, who truly is the head of my life, for with out him, I would not be here.

I have three beautiful children (24, 18 and 17), who I love dearly and they are the most important persons in my life, then comes mama and my money...LOL

Family is also very important to me, including my sister and brother, nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles...for without them, I know my personality would be somewhat different...."normal" for one! LOL

I too share in the idea of networking with others who share's in the same mission, vision and values. I believe we are all here collectively, yet individual at the same time to carry the will of our Creator. We each have a purpose and that's to carry out God's Will so seek it, believe it, define it for yourself, confirm with God and then carry it out.

Meeting, greeting and making friends is a great social outlet for me and I'm looking forward to getting to know people.

Hello Ms Lady with so many names....
I see we both are in the same field....but I've just been a legal assistant for three years now...at a firm here in NY....Thinking about going on the be a paralegal.....we'll see...would like to chat with you...since you've been in the field for some time now...
